Blackrock pub gives excellent response to Wetherspoon's opening
WETHERSPOON’S FIRST IRISH pub opened its doors in Blackrock this morning, serving up cheap and cheerful pints to thirsty punters.
Last week, a company spokesperson revealed that the Three Tun Tavern would not be serving Guinness as Wetherspoon’s and Diageo Ireland could not agree on a price point that would reflect the pub chain’s traditional low prices.
But Conways pub in Blackrock does serve Guinness – and it’s offering a deal to anyone who calls in tonight:
That’s right. Not just cheap pints, FREE pints. Top that one, Wetherspoon’s.
Previously: Fancy a pint of plain? You won’t get one in Wetherspoon’s>
